How to Use Megami™ IPL Sapphire ICE?
Step 1. Preparation
1. Shave the Area: Shave the area you to plan to treat. The IPL device targets hair at the root, so it’s essential to remove hair above the skin’s surface
2. Clean and Dry skin: Cleanse the treatment area and pat dry. Ensure your skin is clean and free of any lotions, creams, or deodorants.
Step 2: Setting Up the Device
1. Plug In and turn on the device: Make sure your device is plugged in and display screen shows “OFF”.
2. Select Intensity Level and choose treatment mode: Start with the lowest setting and adjust according to your comfort and skin type.
- Single press power button to adjust energy level
- Double press the power button to adjust the treatment modes. (Ice-cool mode, Hair Removal Mode 1, Skin Rejuvenation Mode, Hair Removal Mode 2)
- Press the power button and the flash button at the same time to turn on the ice cooling mode. The indicator “❄️”is display on screen.
Step 3: Treatment
1. Wear Protective Glasses: Put on the protective glasses provided with your device to shield your eyes from the intense light.
2. Position the Device: Place the treatment window flat against your skin. The device should make full contact with your skin to ensure proper functionality.
3. Press the Flash Button: Once the device is in place, press the flash button to release the IPL pulse.
4. Move to the Next Area: Lift the device and place it on the next section of your skin. Repeat the process, making sure not to overlap flashes to avoid over-treating an area.
Step 4: Post-Treatment Care
1. Apply Soothing Gel or Aloe Vera: To reduce any redness or discomfort, apply a soothing gel or aloe vera to the treated area.
2. Avoid Sun Exposure: Protect your skin from direct sunlight and use sunscreen if necessary.
3. Moisturize: Keep the treated area moisturized to maintain skin hydration.
Treatment Frequency Advise
- First 1-4 Weeks: Use the device 2-3 times per week.
